I picked this ‘Souvenir de la Malmaison’ rose today, January 6th, 2021, along with other herbs and flowers blooming in my garden to use as scented props in a podcast that I’m starting. The Edgehill Herb Farm Podcast is coming to your headphones soon! Today, in a local podcasting studio, I recorded the introductory podcast and some advertising voiceovers and this rose was there with me giving me fragrant inspiration as I spoke.

January 6th, 2021 I took freshly picked herbs and edible flowers with me into the podcasting studio in downtown Vista, CA. to record the introductory Edgehill Herb Farm podcast and other “b” audio roll. It’s hard, for me at least, to talk about herbs with none around. So even though it’s only an audio podcast, it is still important to me that the plants are with me as I talk, helping me to convey over the airwaves their useful beauty and incredible fragrance and flavors to a listening audience.
